• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human
  Resources or related field
• 5  years of demonstrated Human Resource Generalist experience
• Must have experience recruiting and placing
  difficult to fill positions
• Must have ability to communicate effectively
  both in writing and verbally with diverse people in a variety of situations;
  including superiors, subordinates and peers
• Must be able to manage conflicting and dynamic
  schedules and priorities
• Must be team oriented
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug
  screening

Essential Functions:

• Recruiting
  • Work with hiring manager to develop job
    descriptions and qualifications
  • Market job utilizing a variety of advertising,
    newspaper, internet, employment agencies, etc.
  • First pass screening, documenting and processing
    of employment applications
  • Scheduling of interviews, communicate with
    potential employees
  • Manage pre-employment screening, E-Verify, drug
    test, background, etc.
• Employee Processing
  • Perform new hire orientation
  • Set-up access in security system, timekeeping
    software, etc.
  • Work with IT to set up technology
  • After introductory period, manage benefit
    enrollment
• Benefits Programs
  • Primary contact for employee benefit
    enrolments, plan information, questions and problem resolution
  • Participate in annual review of all benefit
    programs and provide recommendations and/or coordinate open enrollment
  • Process all enrollment terminations
  • Ensure reviews/compensation adjustments happen
    in a timely fashion
  • Manage FlMA and other statutory programs
• Employee Liaison
  • Establish rapport with employees and provide
    support for management
  • Serve as advisor and mentor to management and
    employs for inquires relating to company policies, procedures and programs as
    well as appropriate resolution of issues
  • Investigates grievances and other employment
    related issues, recommends to managers appropriate action
• Payroll
• Generate bi-monthly payroll for employees based
  on information provided by E-Time collections system, supervisors and managers
• Make all additions, changes or deletions to the
  payroll/time keeping system as needed
• Work within set guidelines to meet payroll
  service deadlines for information and payroll transmission
• Communicate with supervisors and managers in
  order to supply them with the information they need for tracking attendance and
  tardiness
• Check all reports from the payroll service for
  accuracy
